This workshop provides participants with an overview of the life cycle of honey bees, how honey is produced and collected, including the different ways it is harvested from the hive and extracted from the honeycomb. Participants will then sample pure honey produced by bees that foraged from different types of plants. They will learn about the diverse characteristics of raw honey, its beneficial qualities, as well as other types of bee products and their uses.

This workshop is conducted by Mr Xavier Tan from Nutrinest. Xavier is heavily involved in bee conservation. He helps relocate, in a natural way, bee hives found in urban areas in Singapore and also conducts workshops on bee relocation and bee keeping.
